Everything changed from last week but even better. The developer has decided to release the best houses as his first Bahamas sell (as opposed to the 3bed/3bath villas). These are all stand-alone 2 storey 2bed/2 bath houses & 3 storey 3bed/3 bath houses all with pools….. in the main hub of the resort. These are without doubt the best properties on our resort, and we have been told that if they do not triple in value in the next 6 years then we have done something very wrong!!
There are only 114 being released at a price of between £650K and £1.2m (depending on style and spec). At this stage we are asking for just a £2,500 refundable reserve. This is to get your name on the list. Number one on the list gets the first pick of which property he wants, and so on until number 114. This release is exclusive to us for one week only until the vultures in the States release it next Tuesday. They will go VERY fast as the die-hard American investors are going to snap them up quick.
The process then is after 30 days we will ask for another £5,000. At this stage we will start to see a few people drop off and only the real investors will follow through. Therefore, we have a £7,500 refundable reserve. Once this stage is reached we will take all potential investors (if they want) over to the Bahamas where they can view the resort. If they are happy with the proposal then we will ask for a 30% deposit to go to contract, with the date of completion in 18 months time.
